Shipping and Exchange Policy
Everything we sell is delivered electronically, so nothing is posted or couriered. This sets out how work reaches you and why custom work is revised rather than exchanged.

At KortzLab, everything we sell is a digital service. We do not sell, stock, dispatch, or ship physical products.
This Shipping and Exchange Policy ("Shipping Policy") explains how work is delivered to you, what happens if delivery cannot proceed, and what "exchange" means for custom digital work.
1. Scope
This Shipping Policy applies to all services purchased from KortzLab, including website development, web and mobile application development, software development, UI/UX and graphic design, e-commerce development, automation, API integrations, backend development, consulting, maintenance, and technical support.
It should be read together with our Terms of Service, our Cancellation and Refund Policy, and the proposal, quotation, or project agreement that applies to your Project.
2. No Physical Shipment
KortzLab does not ship physical goods.
There is no courier, no dispatch, no packaging, no tracking number, and no delivery address. Nothing is posted to you, and no shipping charge is applied to any order.
Because of this, any part of a payment provider's process that assumes a physical consignment does not apply to a KortzLab engagement.
3. How Deliverables Are Delivered
Deliverables are handed over electronically. Depending on what was agreed for your Project, delivery may take one or more of the following forms:
- Access to a source-code repository
- Deployment to hosting or infrastructure
- Transfer of design files or exported assets
- Handover of accounts, credentials, or configuration
- Documentation provided in written or digital form
The specific method for your Project is the one set out in the applicable proposal, quotation, or project agreement.
4. When Delivery Happens
Delivery timing is defined by the applicable proposal, quotation, or project agreement, and by any milestone structure agreed within it.
KortzLab does not publish a standard delivery window, and no timeframe stated on this website forms part of any agreement. Where a schedule matters to you, it belongs in the written agreement for your Project.
5. Delivery Confirmation
Delivery is treated as complete when the agreed Deliverable has been made available to you by the agreed method — for example, when repository access is granted, when a deployment is live, or when files have been transferred.
We will confirm handover in writing to the email address associated with your Project.
6. Where Delivery Cannot Proceed
Some Projects depend on the Client providing content, approvals, domain access, hosting access, account access, or API credentials.
Where a Deliverable is ready but cannot be handed over because a dependency of this kind is outstanding, the delay is not a failure of delivery on our part. We will tell you what is needed and hold the Deliverable until it can be transferred.
Delays arising from Client dependencies are addressed in our Terms of Service and may affect the Project timeline.
7. Exchanges
Custom digital work cannot be exchanged in the way a stocked physical product can.
Each Project is built to an agreed scope for a specific Client, so there is no equivalent item to swap it for and nothing to return. We therefore do not offer exchanges.
Where a Deliverable does not match what was agreed, the remedies available to you are revisions and correction of defects, described below, rather than an exchange.
8. Revisions
Revisions are changes to a Deliverable within the agreed scope.
The number of revisions included, and the stage at which they may be requested, are set by the applicable proposal, quotation, or project agreement. Requests that go beyond the agreed scope may be treated as additional work.
9. Correction of Defects
Where a delivered Deliverable materially fails to operate according to the agreed specification, KortzLab will make reasonable efforts to correct reproducible defects, on the terms set out in our Terms of Service.
This is separate from a change of mind, a change of requirements, or a request for work that was not part of the agreed scope.
10. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are not covered by this Shipping Policy.
They are governed entirely by our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which explains when refunds may or may not be available, how cancellation works at each stage of a Project, and how to make a request.
11. Access and Ownership After Delivery
Delivery of a Deliverable is not the same as transfer of ownership.
Where the applicable agreement provides for transfer of ownership, that transfer may become effective only after all applicable fees have been paid in full, as set out in our Terms of Service.
You remain responsible for maintaining valid ownership of, and access to, any domains, accounts, subscriptions, and third-party services registered in your name.
12. Third-Party Services
Some Projects involve third-party services such as hosting, domains, infrastructure, or paid APIs.
Those services are delivered by their own providers, under their own terms, and their availability is outside our control. Any costs associated with them are handled as set out in our Terms of Service and our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
13. Relationship With Other Agreements
If anything in this Shipping Policy conflicts with a signed proposal, quotation, or project agreement, that agreement governs for the Project it applies to.
This Shipping Policy continues to apply to everything it does not address.
14. Changes to This Shipping Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised Last Updated date.
Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the updated Shipping Policy.
